Met a girl. I shot a freelance news assignment and the writer came along. It was on local bars so we spent most of the night drinking and talking. I did shoot a few photos but mostly talked. We stayed out a lot later than I expected but I'm not getting overly excited. She's not even my normal type. But isn't that how it happens? When you don't expect it with someone you don't normally look for? Right now a simple date would help with the self esteem. Shot a make-a-wish event this past weekend. My sister volunteers for them and she's getting me into it. Soon I'll start shooting some of the wishes. It's pretty cool.
