I"m not sure if you are using a mac or what but here goes.
when i go to my pics folder i click on the thumbnail of the photo i wanna use.
it opens a gallery of the photos on that folder with the thumbnail you clicked on showing first.
since i'm on a mac i hold down the ctrl, option, apple key and then click on the image.
a menu shows up and i select "open image in new window"
when the image opens in a new window there is a url for it above it.
copy that url into the clipboard (on a mac its apple key then the letter c, it ctrl,c on a PC)
when you are trying to put an image in your journal entry click "image" then paste the url into the window that opens.
the image should show up when you post
