Being that I cant leave well enough alone I had to call her again.....just to hear the tone in her voice. It was the same as always...calm, smooth, possibly happy. I got a list of what was going on along with the appropiate questions about my patrols. As always I couldnt decipher whether this was the best friend tone or I want you back tone.

She gave me some shit about the whole yelling at the civilian thing. I expected that. That was followed with how she was curious how the "energy" in the house would be when I returned. I said I want to see if the void between us will still be there. Silence.

So, there you have it. I should leave the subject alone. When I go home I guess we will know. If it doesnt work out then I will be single...officially, officially. Though I cant really image dating again. In fact I hate the idea. I am a man, ofc, I have my needs and love women, but I seem to be more comfortable watching from a safe distance. I still dont even have my own friends at this point. I have to build my life again. What a project that has and will be.
