Man, this weather is crazy. I was out on the lakefront the otherday, over by Meigs Field (rip), I spent a lot of time down there this summer. I watched Soldier Field get bastardized, i was there the day after the bulldozers killed Meigs, i was there for a lot of shit. But my favorite time to go there is November. I go down there at least twice a week. It's cool, I can see everything...downtown, north, south, the lake...I guess I'm just a nerd for that kind of stuff. A few people I know were down there fishing and I went to visit. It was raining, a lot. They didn't catch anything, but they were down there for the same reason I was. In November it's the only place in the city you can go to and there is no one around. Yeah, enough rambling.

The band has a show December 26th at O'Malley's in Alsip. Besides the beat kitchen, that place is my favorite place to play. The first time we played there, it felt like we were playing the Metro, it's like an alternate reality on the little stage they have there.
