Two hours of sleep. I hate work. I love sleep, but it escaped me tonight. It was worth it.
Went to a new place called The Lighthouse to wish my friend off to New York-- again. She came back for the 4th of July, stayed longer, and now leaves again. I'll miss our messy friendship-- again, or atleast until the end of August.
Almost had drama creep into my life as my friend and her brother wanted to confront a silly girl who accuses me of meaningless pranks. It's always nice to have friends like that, but the night was more important than righting someones wrong-minded thinking-- which I could care less about righting anyhow. Drank, danced, came back to my ex-apartment that is now vacant and swooned in the darkness until the alarm clock zapped our happiness at 7 a.m. I found my toes are like quick monkey feet when I want to press snooze. Good times. Good friends. Good life-- minus the lack of sleep.
