Well, it's 11:30 at night...my husband and I were watching Suicide Girls Must Die...and my 42" Flat Screen television just shuts off. And there's this tiny red light that is just FLASHIN' AWAY! madmadmad

SO! My poor Darkchylde is now vacuuming out the entire thing...even though we both have a feeling the thing is toast. Mother fucker...that is all that can be said.

replacing this fucking thing is going to cost A LOT of money we don't have...grrrr frown

i'd be puling that sucker apart, there will be internal fuses on the power supply i'd check those, when its supplied with power can you hear it hum? the light flashing will mean something, possibly a protection mode, in the book it will say something generic like take it to your dealer to be checked out but it may be something simple.

if the whole thing suddenly went off i would suspect power supply, but there is a chance it went into protect because of an overload further along, if you could send me pic's i could guide you through checking it or even make and model, i can dig up some schematicssmile

lol, my dvd player almost spat that movie back at me in disgust no offense to the girls in it but whoever thought that one up was perhaps on drugs...tongue
