all right...so today the hubby started his new job, at a nuclear power plant...FUN! but it does give him the opportunity for overtime, which is in the "much-needed" category right now...so I am back to being alone during the days...and I'm kinda happy about it. Don't get me wrong, I truly enjoy my husband and when he is around more often, but at the same time- we kind of live our day-to-day lives in a dichotomous fashion. I'm a Virgo, he's an Aquarian on the cusp of Pisces: my Polar opposite. He balances me out, but we both have our own ideas and opinions...and we don't like to bend...to ANYONE 
so, he and i in each others faces all day tends to cause some Turf Wars, if you catch my drift...
I am bummed, because, if you didn't guess, I'm not exactly the "house-wife" type...not that i don't respect it; it is definitely a full-time job...but I just always pictured myself as the high-powered, white collar boss that has no mercy.. Shitty, and it isn't like I actually enjoy that kind of lifestyle, but I can pull it off- and i do it well. I'll thank my Father's Type- A personality for that
i'm just going to have to keep myself busy...i paint, i make dream catchers, i crochet blankets, and am getting into making windchimes....SO, I was thinking I would start an Etsy account, and at least be able to keep myself busy during the day making stuff. hopefully someone would buy it...I was also thinking about having prints made of myself (Pretentious part of the day! ahhh!) but do you actually think someone would buy them? i mean i wouldn't be charging much for them...basically if i can make a $5 profit off of a matted print, i'm cool...i dunno, i'm flattering myself on that one- just throwing ideas out there, but advice or suggestions are welcome, especially to those on Etsy already...I really want to make a go at this.
it's like returning to my roots...Being an artist of whatever sort, I write poetry, I would make an excellent florist (I have a talent for putting together bouquets), I can sing, I can paint (though I consider myself more of a "color-masher") and I can make some pretty cool mosaics and crystalline wind chimes and dream catchers. I used to be able to take some kick ass photos too...but i lost the good old camera i had and certainly don't have the money for a good one now...
