today i was assailed by a life lesson that keeps coming around and around and around.
the lesson has to do with expectation and her evil twin disappointment. i tell myself to let expectation go. i get hurt every time i flirt with her but she seduces me. she kisses me, and caresses me. i want to love her, i reach out to her, and then she turns on me. she comes at me with her twin and together they rip my heart out.
