life, it seems, unfolds as it will; despite one's best efforts to attain control the only certainty is uncertainty. is it in the acceptance of that fact wherein dwells peace?

We live in a mighty torrential river, the world ebbs and flows around us.
the hard part is not fighting against the torrent but flowing with it,
the torrents may throw rocks at you causing you to crash and churn. but it in the end this process serves to change you for the better much like the smooth glistening surfaces of river rocks.
