Just before I left Alaska a friend told me about Carl Hiaasen. I happened to find his book "Skinny Dip" at a little grocery store in Watson Lake, Yukon Territory, Canada and could not put it down. I really enjoyed the randomness of the story. My friend had said that was part of his style. Should I worry about the order of the stories? Are there continuing charater arcs that I should look out for?
Originally I was going to write and say that I've just moved down here and I'm interested in joining the SGAZ group. I noticed that that a qualification was to attend a function and I was wondering if the functions are held in the Phoenix area only or if there are events here in Tucson. I don't mind driving, but since I just moved back here I thought it'd be good to try for stuff down here first.
Then I read your Carl Hiaasen entry and got totally sidetracked. I need some order in my life (like a job) because this extended vacation mentality is starting to scrbmlae my brians.
