This is my first SG blog even though I've been on the site for a little while now. I guess I came for the boobs at first, but I learned pretty quickly that there's more to SG than that.
I do however feel, that the site takes itself a bit to seriously, I mean the articles are great and alot of the board discussions are good aswell, but sometimes I just feel like it's all a bit ridiculous. Maybe it's because of the whole dark/goth/punk/emo theme the site is smothered in, I'm not used to that, even though I (partly) am that kind of guy.
Well, as long as it's not 14 year old depressed kids wearing eyeliner while listening to Panic! at the emo I have to deal with in here, I guess I'll stay. hahaha.
And now for something completely different;
I hate the word soccer, it is a disgusting, vulgar attempt from the american football haters to make this pride of europe, which is football, seem like it's a sissy sport! American Football has nothing to do with football, it's a bunch of guys wearing should pads running around chasing an oval ball, and they only get to kick it every once in a while. The funny thing about that is, the best guy around to kick the bloody thing, is Danish, not American! (Morten Andersen if you didn't guess that yourselves)
So, my conclusion;
Football is the sport where two teams with 11 players on each try to kick a ball in to the other teams goal.
American Football (should have an other name) is the sport where people run around with helmets and act like drunken buffoons.
Therefore; the word soccer = BAD
The word football referring to european football = GOOD
The word football referring to american football = BAD
I'm starting a group about this issue, (when I figure out how), join it if you agree with me! or start a group with an opposite agenda, then we'll battle, it'll be fun!

There are many forms of football in the world - if you say it in Australia it means Aussie Rules, in America it refers to Gridiron, in Ireland it refers to Gaelic Football and in many parts of the world it actually refers to Rugby (Union or League).
Good luck on starting a group - I've tried to start many, and in all likelihood it'll be refused as there's already a group dealing with football. Why not just start a thread there ?? Be careful not to piss Alisa off, though...
