Interesting....
I just got back from setting up at a trade show in Santa Monica called the AFM. Movie companies sell their movies to foriegn distributors during the week long show and today was nothing but the hustle and bustle of a few executives overseeing the exhibits go up while talking on cell phones and being big shots. Funny thing is, the same scene played...

What is it about women with long hair? Don't get me wrong - short hair is very cute and some coifs (like Uma Thurman's in Pulp Fiction) have sexy nautiness written all over them.

Long hair that falls like sheets of silk down a gently rolling hill and smells of fresh flowers makes me fall into the fetal position and lose my voice. I guess...

Let the emotions wash over you without being washed away. It's very much like the difference between watching the rapids calmly from the river bank and being buffeted against the rocks by the current, struggling to keep from drowning. I'm touched and honored by your words. Thank you. Memento is a kick ass film.

Cold rain is pelting us here in what was sunny Southern CA. Drivers on the freeways suddenly forget how to drive and every road becomes congested with morons. I don't get it. I've lived in Central CA, where rain is more frequent in the winter, and Colorado at 8,000 feet where snow hangs around for 6 months out of the year. No where but good...

Time is going by too fast to pay attention. I wish I didn't have all the responsibilities I have now. Strange...the older you get the more "stuff" you accumulate, the more debit you get into and if you're lucky to get a decent job, you have the responsibility to keep it.

Ahh, for the simple days of hunting and gathering.... tongue

For those of us who spend days seeking to fill the emptiness we find in our hearts, we know fate, or the powers above (which ever you adhere to) has a twisted sense of humor. So it should be no mystery to me why I find myself infatuated with that which I can not have in my life. Yet, like a steadfast detective, I toil...

It would be a good idea to send my mom to a day spa, although she hasn't left the house besides work and church since like 1982, ha ha

Storm clouds rising,
overhead I heard
The thunder's warning.
Tears in the rain;
why does she cry?
Doesn't she know
I love her.
Where are the minstrels
with their songs
of love and bliss?
I only long
for her sweet kiss -
so soft
so fleating
my heart
is bleeding.
Can't she see
when she cries
I hurt too?

***********

There are times when life...

Ignorance is not bliss. At least for those who have to live or work around it. I have a co-worker who is a complete moron. Nice lady, but has had waaay to many drugs in her life. Under a microscope, a sliver of her brain would look like swiss cheese. She does the stupidest things, example, talkes to a guy with a french accent and...

Finally have a picture up - thanks, Donkey! I don't have to feel like some newbie with an SG logo for a face. Now to find an interesting shot of myself...

So here's an interesting question: if you're in love with someone who is married, do you tell them? Add to the problem you started as good friends, worked together and strangers you meet tell...

Finally recovered from going out last night...at 9:15 at night! Went dancing in my favorite town, Santa Barbara and experience the high I used to get when I would dance on the stages and podiums in darkened night clubs.
Watching people younger and older than me all swaying and gyrating to primal beats, clad in barely anything with alcohol lowering inhibitions to next to nothing...

Boredom must have stagnated in my skull the other day. I awoke from a deep trance to find I was sitting infront of the idiot box watching some talk show with a topic about women who are unsatisfied with their boyfriends/ husbands because their partners wouldn't perform oral sex. confused

Now, what man in his right mind would not kneel before the shrine and bless it?...

Hey you know, my cat didn't really freak out at all? He was concerned for the first hour or so but then he just curled up and went to sleep in his carrier. Occasionally, he'd look up and ask if we were there yet but then he'd go back to sleep. When we finally got here he just went, "Yep, this is where I live". He adjusts pretty quick. Thanks for the good wishes. Everything's going well so far except for spending so much money on furniture... Expensive even when it's inexpensive. :^/
