My eXperiMental music project, Protea, is up at 7pm and the festival goes on all freaking day - 1:00 PM until late.
It's all happening at the 21 Grand Art Space -- 416 25th St., Oakland, CA 94612
The annual Transbay Skronkathon BBQ is an all-day marathon music and BBQ extravaganza. Admission is FREE, but we'll pass the hat for the benefit of the Transbay Creative Music Calendar.
We'll have a passel of charcoal grills out in the alleyway for your food-searing pleasure (BRING veggie STUFF TO GRILL!) and a huge roster of the Bay Area's best creative musicians inside for your listening pleasure.
It's a great day to hang out in the sun (cross fingers), chill with a lot of musical people and hear a whole lot of extremely unusual muzik.
