Finally some optimistic news - an advocate met with Patrisha's medical staff today and convinced them to wait a bit before taking her off life support, since she reaffirmed that she doesn't want to die. We shall see on Friday if they respect that and I'll update you with any info. She is keeping busy with CNN, reading articles on the web, and receiving visitors, but is trapped in a chronic hellish state, limited in her mobility and speech, poked and prodded to high heaven.
