I wish I could answer everyone's post from the last entry but I'm on dial-up and the constant reloading is slowing the process further, not to mention I've been physically and mentally drained (read the paragraph below). But thanks so much for your kind, supportive words re. the samples I posted from my rejected set.
Unfortunately, I can't attend Prom as I have a temporary but disfiguring infection on my face that has stumped every doctor I've seen. We're talking alien symptoms. Today, however, things are moving in a good direction, likely due to the broad-spectrum antibiotic. Here's some more stuff to look at since my face is not safe for viewing. (To prove the point, I was leaving the hospital bathroom as another woman was entering and she shrieked and jumped back. I don't blame her - when the doc removed the epidermal crusting and handed me a mirror I yelped and sent him flying in his chair.) If I continue to improve I'm all good, but if things get worse come Monday I have to go into the hospital on IV anti-b's. If that doesn't do it they will call in docs specialized in cryptic diseases.
