Selket got her bandage off today! It looks scary, but I expected that. She's shaved halfway down her back on that side - even the top part of her tail is hairless. Talk about a shaved pussy! She has such gorgeous ticked fur - can't wait 'til it all grows back. I feel like a mom trippin' off her daughter's shaved head. The fact that she is already wanting to run around like the wildcat she is relieves me but makes me nervous. Will she try to get out again? I'll have to take her out on her harness every day when she heals - and replace the screens. Last night I did a photoshoot with her - we both had our bandages on (the same side, hehe) and I got in the cage with her. I was going to try to get treatment from her vet, or just ask questions since I can't go to the doctor after paying for her treatment. That's our medical system, God ble$$ us. Yeehaw.
