I have worked away from home for years now, I wonder how it changes you as a person. I do a few weeks at a time moving from place to place. I love the travel and meeting people but it is hard to miss my wife all the time, I also have found myself with very few friends. The people I have are amazing but it is easy to be forgotten when you are not home most of the year.
