I went to see my family yesterday for a belated Christmas. My dad told me how he fell in love with my mom:
He was a regular at the bar where she worked in Albuquerque. They had many things in common including Steelers fandom. Here is a direct quote:
"I fell in love with your mother the day I found out she was not just a Steelers fan, but a rabid Steelers fan. We were watching a game and the Steelers ended up losing, and I looked over and there were just tears streaming down her face. That is the moment when I said 'I love this woman.'"
He asked my dude if he ever comes to my bar, and my dude said "oh yeah, I'm there for or five times a week." My dad said "Yep, that's how her mother hooked me - I used to come in a couple times a week but once I fell for her I was there every day."
My parents are amazing. I'm really lucky.

That is awesome. My dad fell for my mom because she looked like David Bowie. And she fell for him because he could play percussion on his head. Having amazing parents is the best.
