Today one of my best friends came over and we used her thumb drive to swap music. Then we took the dog (he is a small, chunky, white Chihuahua) to this secret beach where you have to walk about half a mile through a cow pasture and go down this shale ravine using a rope to get to the beach. Unfortunately the heavy rain has eroded the ravine so much that we couldn't navigate it, especially not with me trying to hold the dog and both of us in flip flops. But we really enjoyed the walk through the gorgeous pasture, the sky huge above us and the tall grass swaying in the wind. It smelled good and it was pretty. I love feeling like no one else exists.

The dog had a really good time too - he was too tired to freak out in the car on the way home.
