Chicago was rad. I like Flatstock events partly because the poster art community seems pretty tightly knit and it's fun to see all the bros bro down.
I also had a lot of fun seeing my best friend since 8th grade. Our relationship has taken some strange turns. Not bad, just strange.
I got to see the Jesus Lizard. They were great. Otherwise I didn't watch many bands - parts of Tortoise, Fucked Up, and the Black Lips. It was hard to get to the front or close enough to see at all.
People have kept telling me that eventually I would like Fernet, and somehow on Friday whatever thing happens in your brain to get you to like it happened and now I guess I am a fan.
We went to Hot Doug's but not Kuma's. We hung out with Morgan and HawkOrHandsaw, and Tangus but not Trocc unfortunately.

I wanted to see the Jesus Lizard, but unfortunately, I had to work Friday so me getting downtown was a no go that night. Good to hear they were great though.
