Okay, that's over with.
I have had a relaxing weekend so far. Friday I went to bed at like 9:45. Saturday I ran some errands and did some reorganizing. Then my friend came over and we watched Escape From New York and drank vodka with blood orange soda. I'm not normally a big vodka drinker but sometimes it's great. I went to the Russian grocery store a week or so ago and asked the lady what her favorite vodka was. She immediately replied "Russian Standart!" and handed me a bottle of this:
It's good! I love the Russian grocery. They also have many little candies in wrappers with things like bears, dancers, bears being chased by hunters, squirrels, bears eating squirrels, bears eating dancers, et cetera. All of these candies are either chocolate with hazelnut or chocolate with toffee, so I'm not sure what the different labels signify.
Eastern Europe: endlessly entertaining. A friend of mine spent the winter in Poland last year and she's trying to go back again this year, but is having visa troubles. I would rather go to Lithuania or Russia than Poland but hey, different strokes. Actually if I was going to live abroad I would go to Ireland or Mexico.
Search terms from my last blog: super jerks, sack of pennies, sock parade.

I love The Blow. Normally, I'm all about east coast bands, but The Blow makes some straight up baby makin' music that no one can resist.
Just. Awesome.
