I just deleted a bunch of people. I'm crabby. I tried on like 30 pairs of black pants today and hated all of them. They were all either horribly ill-fitting, or really ugly. I cannot wear cheap polyester pegged slacks, designers! Please take heed!
I did get a new bra and some workout pants. Fat pants, you might call them.
Good news: I finished the first draft of my short novel. It's... really short. Like 86 pages in my word processor. I think it's possible that part of the edit process will actually be fleshing it out. It feels SO GOOD to have finished the draft, though. I haven't completed a draft of a novel since I was like 17.
So, anyone know any literary agents?

Congrats on finishing your novella. I'm trying to sell a screenplay right now while writing another one, and allegedly working on a novel, so I know all about the joys of trying to get someone beside your nearest and dearest writing friends to read it. The Bay Area seems reasonably literate though I'm sure if you bug enough people you'll find someone. I recommend making a lot of friends in the business. Although it hasn't gotten me out of my day job, I've gotten a lot of free drinks out of it.
