- Apparently buying expensive stuff and never using it. I have Aperture on my MacBook and I have no idea how to operate it. Stupid. My boyfriend is a photographer- I should just give it to him.
- The fact that I never have to wear high heels to work anymore. For a while it was super fun playing Girl Friday and getting dolled up for the office job, but unfortunately your modern Girl Friday has to do a ton of running around, picking up lunches, stocking supply rooms, going up and down stairs, and my adorable feet were actually getting scars from doing all this in heels. Not to mention the horrid back and arch pain.
- Jezebel.com, particularly donating money to their PayPal account (tips@jezebel.com) for the Basra Women's Rights NGO. If you haven't heard or read anything about the incredibly fucked up things happening to women in Basra, Iraq, check it out. Things like fathers beating their daughters to death because they made eye contact with a soldier. Also Jezebel is just a rad blog in general that covers all sorts of interesting stuff.

I always loved her and I met her last year (as she is dating a casual friend of mine) so I was too intrigued. I bought a baby owl necklace.
