I found out over the past year that quite a few people are actually intimidated by me -- including SGLA members who have known me for years. Apparently I'm not too good at the "being nice" thing.

I decided a few years ago that I had no real reason to be overly nice to people I didn't like. My life's gotten a lot better since then.

it's like a fucking achillies heel... but yet I remain optimistic about my pessimism
