Presidents of the United States of America tonight at the Independent in SF!!! Obviously Shannon can't go, so I gave her ticket to her best friend Kiki. A cool kid in her own right, and she actually likes the band. 
I started looking at apts in Shannon's area for us to move into on Craig's List. Lots of great choices close to her Grandma's, so it should be easy when she's ready to go. Yay!
