Y'know how everyone talks about how romantic a language french, spanish, italian etc. is? I don't think that's fair. English can be a beautiful language; we just don't use it properly. If you go back to very old literature and poetry (ie. Shakespeare etc.), you can see how gorgeous a language it can be.
If we continue to place an emphasis on slang terminology and continue the trend of simplistic, lowest common demoninator writings, movies and music, we are running the risk of forgetting how incredible English can really be.
I encourage people to go to the library (it was quite popular before this whole internet thing got off the ground), and discover, or rediscover, literture that uses English to its fullest romantic extent.

P.S. I gave in and bought an Xbox 360. Dead Rising is brilliant, and I can't stop getting a chainsaw and hacking through Zombies. So bloody satisfying, it's sickening.
