I just realized my journal entry was almost two months old. Whoops.
Well, the most exciting recent event in the life of little Thisbe was driving to LA on a whim. So it's Tuesday evening, I'm sitting at home bored out of my mind, Eponine gets home around 5:30 and joins me in boredom. I'm texting my LA friend Bar Boy, as I am wont to do, and he makes some comment about how I should come hang out with him. Sis and I look at each other, she points out that neither of us have to work till Friday,and so off we drive.
This also ended up being our April Fool's joke... we asked our friend Rachel what she was doing the next day, and when she asked why we said we were sending her a musical candygram. Little did she suspect that the musical candygram was, in fact, Eponine and me with a bag of M&Ms singing Gay Bar.
Aside from I-70 and Eisenhower Tunnel being closed on the way back, it was a very good couple days. We needed an adventure.
