So earlier today, Amanda totally smuggled me into the planetarium with her astronomy class. It was sweet. Her teacher was kind of annoyingly repetetive and seemed to think everyone was really slow... like, did you know that when the moon looks half-full to us, it's actually still an orb? And when it looks like a crescent? Still totally an orb. What kind of crazy shit is that? Of course the moon is shaped like whatever we see. Duh. 
Sorry, got carried away with the sarcasm... but it was a little ridiculous. However! Free planterium=can't complain too much.
Also, no school for like, a million years! Democratic National Convention this next week, and then the Monday after that is Labor Day! Yay!

A couple of SG friends teach a yoga class to friends on Monday nights. It's yoga followed by a pot luck. Bring food or a bottle of wine. I look forward to the day when everyone brings a bottle of wine.
It's great fun, and I haven't been going nearly enough. Like for instance, last night I was at a concert instead.
And this coming Monday I will be at a concert, instead.
