It's so unbelievably nice to talk to someone so far away and hear their voice and have it feel like everything is normal. But then there's the saying goodbye, and the not knowing when you'll be able to talk again. Ouch.

Also, only finals left for school. Hooray!

Well, if my experiences were anything like what he's got right now, there will be something closer to a routine when everyone gets all situated in wherever his final destination is.

When I was in Germany, Qatar, and Balad, I couldn't really get in touch with home. Once I settled in in Radwaniyah, I was good.
