Well, I am officially off for summer vacation. I took my last final today from 10:20 AM to 12:30 PM and it blew. The material covered wasn't really what the professor went over. There were three problems but I only had time for two of them. That is OK though as the professor has been very understanding this semester. I am just glad to be...

Last night was the Tool concert. Tool put on a pretty good show with a very interesting light and laser show. I was a little disappointed in that they didn't play some of their older songs like Hush, Sober, Hooker With A Penis, Eulogy, and Undertow. They mainly focused on songs off of their latest release, 10,000 Days. Tool almost put on a full two...

Tomorrow is the Tool concert and I can't wait. The concert should have been about a month ago (which I would have preferred) but, as any Tool fan will know, the drummer injured himself and the tour had to be pushed back. In all actuality, next weekend would have been the best as my room mates and I would be done with finals and it...

There was a major lightning storm last night. I knocked out about 1/2 of the power in Las Cruces for a good 30-60 minutes. I was studying in the library when the power went out and the electronic doors shut on us. It took them about 10 minutes to come open the doors and let us out. I guess they didn't want anyone stealing their...

I finally purchased a new digital camera. My first digital camera was purchased back in 2004 and it was a 5.0MP Sony DSC-T1. You may remember it from that TV commercial in which some girls took a picture of Steven Tyler and the camera had a huge screen. That camera put me back by $550 and it wasn't bad but the camera was so compact...

Yesterday was the big day. Kristyna and I attended the Lacuna Coil acoustic pre-show at Grandma's Music in Albuquerque. We arrived there about 3.5 hours early and just sat in the store. It was a long ass wait as they played jazz music and neither of us are into that genre. Still, it was worth it. Lacuna Coil only performed three songs though: Within Me,...

Nope, wasn't me. I was downtown with SF all day.
I'm not really a Lacuna Coil fan. Not tht they're bad or anything, I just haven't really ever listened to them.
vanessa:
Oh and the Slayer/MM tour isn't coming anywhere in NM, by the way. Closest is Denver and Phoenix, I think.
Manson's manager showed me the dates about a month and a half ago and everytime I talk to Manson now i get mad at him because he's not coming here.wink

Lacuna Coil, Shadows Fall, and Dimmu Borgir.

Well, there are only 2 more days (basically one more day now) until the Lacuna Coil/Shadows Fall concert in Albuquerque, NM and the acoustic Lacuna Coil pre-show. It will be a long ass drive, about 4.5 hours, but it will definitely be worth it.

I picked up the Dimmu Borgir album today, it is called "In Sorte Diaboli."...

Only 4 more days until the Lacuna Coil/Shadows Fall concert in Albuquerque along with the pre-show acoustic performance by Lacuna Coil. I will have to miss my Stat 397 class but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make.
