i'm sitting in washington square park stealing wi-fi, cause that's how i roll. i've got fresca, which i drink now, 2 days worth of the new york times and my ibook. it's 75 and sunny... i'm warm and happy. i bought the book washington square at half-price books for exactly 39 cents, but i left it at home as it will take me approx 9 hours to read these newspapers. i am slow but ambitious.

i like all the dogs here. i never realized it, but i didn't really see too many dogs where i grew up. they existed, but mostly in yards, not being walked around the city. plus they are all dog dogs, like collies and golden retrievers. here they are interesting dogs like pugs, bulldogs and boston terriers.

last week, i saw throatneedle, bijoux, julian casablancas, albert hammond jr, eric neis, patricia field and some girl from project runway. i keep thinking i see philip bloch, but i've come to the conclusion that there are a thousand phillip bloch clones running around nyc, styling the sarah jessicas.

ooh, this is exciting -- i actually ran into people i know. i went to this fischerspooner art gallery/dj thing and saw nadzofsteel and 1/5 of my favorites, bananabel.

i've been having fun dancing, drinking pomegranate margaritas, eating cupcakes from magnolia and walking along the hudson river park. i haven't seen clouds since i arrived 11 days ago. i like it here.
