well, i do have a seemingly minor but in reality major update for the 'project: 37 --> nyc'. i have now, finally, gained the blessings and help of my parents. they are being wonderful in finally sending their only child to the big, bad city. the focus has finally moved from 'find a better job here' to 'what can we do to help you move?'. that's big for me. our agreed-upon target date is now nov 1, which is later in the fall than i had hoped, but compromise is a part of life.
for future bff throatneedle: just as last time .. i saw modest mouse and the walkmen last night. again! at king's island (an amusement park)! i was in line behind and then rode son of beast with the walkmen. they are adorable.
