So Monday I was sweating in 86 degree weather and today I woke up cold under my down comforter in 40-something weather. Nonsense!
Today I meant to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and down the Brooklyn Promenade, but instead I watched The Simpsons, The Family Guy and The Wonder Years on my DVR. I get kind of obsessed with making sure no shows are deleted without my watching them..and with watching shows in order. With all the different airings, I'm watching the first season, the last season and the current season of The Simpsons. And you know what? The recent Simpsons episodes are not all that bad. And I somehow remember everything on The Wonder Years before it happens - like Karen's stupid hippie free-lovin boyfriend being Aiden from Sex and the City. And Winnie? Upon retrospection, she was a real drip.
It smells like fall in Manhattan, which I wouldn't have guessed is possible. I assume it's because I live near Central Park, although all the trees are still green. Seems late for that.
My bank's fraud department called me within minutes of my ordering the Radiohead album. HA!
Of the people I had plans with tonight, one of my friends is gaying out in the Meatpacking district and another is at a hip-hop party. Understandably, I'm paralyzed with inaction, so I'm watching the Star Wars Family Guy episode.
