Had a locksmith come out and install new hardware on all my doors today. I haven't been able to shut my front door completely in quite some time, and I've never really been able to get out the back door without picking it with a hacksaw file. It's interesting how much we get used to. It turns out that doorknobs are cool as hell.

I took a vacation day today to round up to a 3 day weekend... i remember someone saying that there's another one coming up too. Had a good time... due to a nice little combination of whims this one was filled with 100 proof vodka and sex for the last two days. I honestly feel like going back to work tomorrow... kind of like staying home any longer would be a waste. Like I've accomplished all that is reasonable for a weekend and there's just no way another day could do anything but bring the average down.
