My cousin got married yesterday. Spend most of the afternoon at her wedding and missed game 5 of the Sharks-Avalanche series. I was extremely on edge when I finally got home and had to check nhl.com to see if my boys were eliminated or if there would be a game 6.
For the second game in a row, Joe Sakic came through in overtime to score the game winning goal. I think that's awesome. I think he and Steve Yzerman are the two best captains in all of hockey. They're the only two who consistently pull feats like that and lead by doing.
Game Six is tomorrow night. You're all invited.
