A new update is due it seems. I'll be on my way to work in a few minutes. I find it ironic that I like my job. It's my first job with a company that wasn't easily classifiable as "small business" owned by someone local. But even though it's definitely corporate I still like it. It interests me and the whole network of organization interests...

Met girl tonight for coffee...
and she ordered...
coffee!
It's not like that's a deal-breaker if she didn't or as though it moves the world every time that happens, I just like the idea of it. In a world full of double-shot non-dairy vanilla lattes with just a sprinkle of cinnamon and lots of foam, a girl who just asks for coffee gets a certain...

RIGHT ON!!!! to bad i can't echo the sentiment...... all women are evil and all men are morons...... works about 87.345 % of the time......
Started re-reading Crime and Punishment today. I haven't read it since I was 16 and it's very odd to go through this book and read the thoughts of Raskolnikov. When I was a kid I knew Dostoyevski had been put it prison for his writing, but didn't see the politics or social commentary quite as clearly as I do now. I just liked the things...

I know what you mean about the "superficial understanding" of youth...the lack of "context" when looking at literature...I can grasp and relate more deeply to writing if I have the context down...
I was a big fan of Kafka when I was in school...I realted to "The Metamorphosis" a great deal..(in my own context, of course.)
BTW...my "old demons"...I just thought at 32 I was done with certain tendencies...like my bratty selfishness and my propencity to turn guilt into a chance to become consumed w/self abuse and, in so doing, become completely self-absorbed...stuff like that.

I'm digging on a new girl and I think she's absolutely fascinating. In a perfect world, she's been trying to call me for the last week and a half. As proof that we don't live in such a world, I would point out that my answering machine has been broken for the last two months.
I call her tomorrow.
Went to the bookstore tonight to...

thank you.
I broke a tooth today. Molting is such a hassle.
It raises a question though. Why do we tounge-fuck dental calamaties? Remember being a kid and having your teeth come out? Am I the only one who instinctively shoved the tip of their tounge inside the empty sockets incessantly? I'm doing it now... and I can't stop. Is it comforting? Exploratory? Are we just seeing...

haha..no...I wasn't the one who broke anything...although I usually am....and I do it when I'm sober...I'm extremely clumsy.
And no it's not just you...I incessantly shove my tongue inside other people's empty sockets too...wait......no....that's not right...

Hi. My name is Steven. I live on the 3rd Floor. I live upstairs from you. Yes, I think you've seen me before.
I'm looking for a good album and a good movie. Seems like most of the stuff I hear these days has no staying power... it sounds good for a while but then it just goes on the shelf and I never want...
