To be alone
Is to know what youve got
To be the main character
In the loneliest of plots

You know whats coming next
A moment by yourself
Its hard to take at times
But its better than being with someone else

Its quiet and inviting thought
My ideas come with pain and time
When youre by yourself a lot
Theres a lot that goes through your mind

To be alone
Is to realize what you miss
What you love is what it is
But actions stop at just a wish

To be alone
Is to be scared to stay that way
To want to love, but not too much
Its never knowing what to say
To be alone
Is to be me today
