Fine, fine Sunday...overcast & out of touch. I sometimes wonder why I'm a member here when I can't seem to even keep my own journal updated...humbug.
This morning has been filled with melodic music thievery...a downloader's dream. At this moment, i am listening to Coldplay's, "Swallowed in the Sea"...a beautiful song, so i suggest checking it out if your busy daily schedules permit.
So, there i was, again, on tour with Sigur Ros...well, not actually working for them this time, but attending the 1st seven performances of their 2005 Takk tour. From Atlanta to Boston...even duplicate performances back to back in NYC were refreshing. For those of you that were unable to see them live...you really have missed something special...go out and pick up their new album, "Takk", & i can assure you that you will be pleasantly surprised.
So yes, i did manage to make it back home to New York in my 3600 miles of driving. It was nice to be back in familiar surroundings with like-minded people. The drab city never seems to get old. I also managed to catch a Yankees game, parade the city with old friends, & eat some real sushi again. Thats right, they don't have real sushi in this godforsaken state...California rolls are just finger food...you bastards.
I also picked up the new SG DVD, which admittingly, I have yet to view...perhaps later today. I also have Vincent Gallo's latest release, "The Brown Bunny", which is certainly true to his work as well as Guy Ritchie's, "Layer Cake"...which, in my opinion, is his best work yet.
go ahead & share your latest threads....
