man, the elliot smith business has been making me sad for days now. dont know waht it is really, guess he is the first musician i really liked that has died. think its more than this however. something about his persona...he seemed so shy and sad and such and it was so brutal what he did. thinking about it now and it doesnt feel like anything but then ill listen to a song and feel real greif. poor guy...

oh and the irony of that jake gyllenhaal is that i have a huge fan crush on jake, and my boyfriend has a huge crush on Jenny Lewis.
and then we see our (basically) only star crushes, together, holding hands. quite the irony i'd say.
