man, the elliot smith business has been making me sad for days now. dont know waht it is really, guess he is the first musician i really liked that has died. think its more than this however. something about his persona...he seemed so shy and sad and such and it was so brutal what he did. thinking about it now and it doesnt feel like anything but then ill listen to a song and feel real greif. poor guy...

im not southern. i only live here. im going to L. A in 2 days.
oh and the irony of that jake gyllenhaal is that i have a huge fan crush on jake, and my boyfriend has a huge crush on Jenny Lewis.
and then we see our (basically) only star crushes, together, holding hands. quite the irony i'd say.

san diego is burning down! man schools out but it is lame because i only have class tuesdays and thursdays and can thus really not cash in on these days off. what can one do, not much complaining can be done about a 5 day weekend. dark brown and such out, albeit smoky.
