so stoked that i took 2nd place in the partial beard category of this weekend's beard and moustache championships in charlotte. first comp. first award.

I have been chosen as a Urban Beardsman by Beardbrand. this will give my charity and my local beard club some cool national exposure in the bearding community...

there is just something that fills the soul after going to a charity event. i do a lot of domestic violence advocacy here in charlotte. and my charity has just maintained over the last few years. we have raised almost a quarter of a million dollars for the local shelter since our inception in 2007, but we have just averaged a $30k donation each year....
