what a gorgeous day in CLT! it has been a good weekend thus far. friday night i hosted a pregame prior to going uptown. it was a riot. we sat and watched the premium blend episode of mitch hedberg that they showed the week that he passed away and i DVR'ed. that will never leave my machine. funniest thing happened when my friend sue went to get another beer. she was anchoring herself on the freezer door while she was opening the refrigerator. next thing we know we look over and she is hanging from both doors and the fridge is tilting quick. who knew you needed a spotter to get another beer? i guess multiple jager bombs will do that to you.
yesterday i felt like a warm box of ass most of the day, but that allowed me to get some much needed rest. and i picked up a new friend at the airport around 9. then her and i got some good dinner around 10:30. spent the rest of the night curled up watching movies. then this morning i cooked. pancakes, eggs, and bacon. good stuff. new friends with fresh eyes are good for me. i get complacent sometimes with the same old me.
