I just got a call from my step mom. Grace, was run over by a car today. She was one of three of our dogs.
My pop lives on a farm in north central PA. The driveway is a about a 1/4 mile long and if the dogs are out the usually run down to meet a visitor. Then they run up the rest of the driveway next to the car. Its tough sometimes because you can't see the two jack russells. Apparently our old neighbor was visiting and Grace just slipped under a tire.
My step mom called me from the car on her way to the hospital because Grace's defensive instincts kicked in after she was hurt and she bit her pretty bad before passing.
This is going to crush my dad who has been away from the farm for work. This was his girl. And its going to be tough for my sister who has finals all week.
Anyway. Rest in peace Gracie.
About the shower - it gets fully hot and scalding, it just doesn't last. And it's not like we have a super small tank either.... I just don't get it.
