last wednesday i had volleyball.
thursday my rents came to town and we had a nice dinner down at firebird's. a few pinot noirs, a nice BLT salad, a 10 oz. prime rib, some mashed potatoes, and topped off with some pumpkin cheesecake. it was also great to catch up with my mom. one of the three times i will probably see her this year.
friday night i hit the malls with some friends. i hadn't gone shopping for shoes and other clothes in quite some time. it was a little treat that i felt justified in. some new kicks and some french cuff shirts and i was good to go.

so i guess the big thing for the weekend was a cool a charity event uptown. the cystic fibrosis foundation being the benficiary. it was a really good time. about seven hundred people all getting together for a good cause and to meet some other people.
the most interesting part of the evening being when some random chick i never met jumped out of her car while waiting in traffic in the parking garage and kissed me full on the lips. fucking women are strangely great sometimes.
and so after my weekly beating of three straigh hours of volleyball last night, my ass is dragging. one last sip of beer and my head will hit the pillow.
