You might not notice it, but there is a rip in this picture. This happened today, just before I scanned it in for today's update in the comic. August had to get in one last kick in the stomach. Or September is starting.
Wait. No, Ben, be positive. The bright side is that the rip actually adds to the page.
Also on the bright side, I have a photo shoot this weekend for a friend. I mentioned before that I'm trying to build a portfolio. I almost had a photo job this month. Sadly, the person contracted a sudden illness and she passed away. I've been helping my friends through the rough patch, and hopefully, this helps them as well.
