I pretty much got the same feedback, about the situation I am having with those three women, on another message board I frequent, but just because I am so stubborn, I decided to give it one last shot.
I replied back to that girl from the TV show and told her a little more about myself, how I am most likely going to be moving into a place with my brother this Summer and starting school in the Fall. I told her about how I am really into music and that I am interested in going into Journalism or something like that. I ended the message by asking what she was going to school for and inviting her to contact me via IM or something like that if she ever wanted to talk.
Of course, she never even replied to it, so it's a given that she's only being nice to keep me watching the show. I think I am not even going to bother with that either. Why torture myself?
As for the other two ladies, the first one and I still talk a lot, she even half-joked about me moving in with her. She's looking for a roommate too and when I told her about needing a place to live before school starts, she suggested I be her roommate. She said she was only joking, mostly, but I still get the impression that she's a little interested. Still, she has her love in England to deal with so I am not pressuring her at all.
The other girl, who has been so forward, continues to do so. She makes use of a lot of hints and playful language, but there's just no real substance behind it. I suppose I could agree to meet her sometime and just keep things as polite as possible, I am in no rush to let sex ruin things. Besides, she probably just talks a big game but is actually more reserved in person, like I am.
One slightly more amusing development, a girl I went to high school with found me on Facebook and when I saw her profile, I found myself remembering how I had a small crush on her back in the day and I couldn't help but notice just how beautiful she looks today. Of course, she is a born-again Christian and I am an Atheist, so it looks like even God doesn't want me hooking up with anyone these days.
