Wow
What a fuckin' week!
All the way up to Scotland to see Metallica for the 4th time, they put on quite possibly the best show I have ever seen them do and then to see them at Donington for the 5th time and believe me, the Donington gig is gonna go down in history!
Lars was ill so they had Dave Lombardo (Slayer) Flemming (Lars' Drum Tech) and Joey Jordison (Slipknot) stand in. What an AMAZING show, even if it did chop over an hour off the set list because it was all so last minute, it was worth it. It's going to be talked about for years and i'm certainly never going to forget it!
Also got to see some other kick ass bands, Machine Head, Korn, Cradle Of Filth and loads more. Nothing like a good weekend festival!
I had to miss the Suicide Girls burlesque show for Metallica though, which pissed me off mightily. I really wanted to see that, but wont miss Met for the world! Make it up to me and come back over here....PLEASE!
