I don't know if anyone answered your question, but I thought I'd answer it for you... just in case.
To view a photoset in a group, you go to the top of the page-- and there's a little bar below the group description that says,
TOPICS PHOTOSETS EVENTS MEMBERS
Click on photosets, and you can browse them at your pleasure through the nav bar on your left... there should be a photoset for every "see my pictures" thread.
