A brief synopsis of the past week+ (discluding work, for obvious reasons):
Saturday night - birthday dinner with friends. we ate like royalty.
Sunday - lazyness and birthdayness with the family (I'M OLD!). bbq w/ family friends for mother's day. really lame.
Monday - who the fuck knows, i dont even want to think about the word Monday right now
Tuesday - stressing over my impending date with girl that i met a week earlier. ate italian ices and smoked teh pot (rare occasion these days)
Wednesday - said date. good god was she lame. she was literally acting like she didn't wanna be there from the first minute. i don't know how we managed to make dinner last for 2.5 hours.
Thurday - brain cancer charity event. free booze, free food. rubbing elbows with high society is fun, especially when your friend's company planned the event and you dont have to pay the $150 fee to get in.
Friday - post-work drinks/sushi. in bed for Conan O'Brien, and proud of it.
Saturday - went to look for an apartment in beatiful Park Slope Brooklyn. dinner for Josh's birthday; ate like semi royalty, drinks afterwards, in bed at 5am. it's been a while since i've had one of those.

today i'm going back to BK to hopefully drop off a security deposit on the apartment i saw yesterday. the_state is in love.
