i am the only person in my office today. the rest are in chicago for some conference. and i'm here, in their absence. to fight off the impending boredom, i came equipped with several tools in which to aid my battle:
-ipod: check
-original gameboy which i received for my 7th birthday in 1989: check
-tetris: check
-copy of franny & zooey that i've been meaning to read for about 17 months: check
-sneakers instead of shoes: hellllllllllllllsyeah check
in addition, i've decided to succumb to the pressures of (the internet) society and joined myspace. i'm teaching myself html code so i can make my page look special. because my mom always did tell me i was special. like the cereal special k, not like the kids who rode to school on the short bus.
